The Volvo Owners’ Club is delighted to be joining forces with TorqueVolvo to create a spectacular two-day celebration of 100 years of Volvo Cars at Elvington Airfield on 26th and 27th June 2027. TorqueVolvo have a fantastic track record of organising hugely successful Volvo events and raising considerable sums for charity. They also hold the Guinness World Records title for the Largest Parade of Volvo Cars, achieved at Elvington with an incredible 800 Volvos.
The Volvo Owners’ Club National Meet & Best Kept Volvo Competition will take place on the Saturday, with a packed programme of attractions across the whole weekend. Expect displays covering Volvo’s history from the very first OV4 of 1927 through to the latest electric models, together with Volvo trucks, live music, comprehensive catering, a charity raffle, helicopter rides and much, much more.
There will be plenty to see and do on both days, making this an event that no Volvo enthusiast will want to miss!
Even more exciting attractions and full details of the weekend will be announced shortly – visit volvo100.co.uk for more detail as we move forward.
Supporting Legend on the Bench
All proceeds from the event will go to Legend on the Bench, a suicide-prevention charity installing specially designed benches in public spaces, providing QR codes and contact information to connect people in crisis with help and support.
Their message is simple but incredibly important:
“Someone is always listening.”
